Feed the Soul - ART Supplies for Tsurupinsk

alt

Due to the WAR in Ukraine the children we have helped over the years have been relocated and our orphanage specific programs have been put on hold indefintely. We continue to accept general donations to help older orphans and their families who remain in Ukraine.

Tsurupinsk Children's Home is home to 207 physically and mentally handicapped children aged 4 to 18. Arts and Crafts is a vital part of everyday life for the children that live here. Many of the children are disabled often missing arms, hands or fingers. Some of these artists paint and draw with their mouth or feet. The art is a valuable occupational pasttime to help them with these disabilities. Many of the children are very talented and often sell their works to help sustain them.

When asked about greatest needs for this orphanage the Director will always respond diapers, toilet paper, and art and paint supplies. For these children the ability to work on art projects is just as important as food and other necessities.

An Orphan Smiles would like to be able to provide Art and Craft supplies on an ongoing basis.
